If you enjoy out of the way rare finds, then Urbanna, Virginia is for you! The beautiful quaint town of Urbanna was once voted the “most picturesque waterfront town in Virginia.” Its roots date back to Colonial America where it was prized then, as it still is today, for its protected deep water harbor. Located seventeen nautical miles up the wide Rappahannock River from the Chesapeake Bay, it is a boater’s paradise. Our home offers wonderful views of the harbor from a wide veranda and a screened in back porch. You will be able to easily identify the many ports and country flags of yachts anchored in the harbor. Located on an acre of waterfront property, our neighborhood home is within easy walking distance to the center of Urbanna. There one can shop in delightful boutiques, go antiquing, visit an old-fashioned drug store, or dine in various local eateries. Swimming in a delightfully secluded pool is steps away from our front porch as is a private yacht club where one can stroll along piers for an up close look at various seaworthy vessels. In the evening you may see rabbits, deer, or our favorite ground hog. Our home in Urbanna offers the perfect setting where one can easily unwind and relax.

Located between the Morehead City / Beaufort North Carolina area and the quaint town of Swansboro, North Carolina, is a South Outer Banks Island referred to as the Bogue Banks. This twenty-six plus mile long island contains the communities of Emerald Isle, Indian Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, and Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. The entire island from the Atlantic Coast beaches to the intra coastal waterway on the sound side is a vacationers’ paradise. The island faces due south and boasts absolutely beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches. Dolphins are frequently seen as they swim and play just off shore; Brown Pelicans skim the surface of gently rolling waves; and sea turtle nesting areas are protected from intrusion. Our villa places guests in the middle of the island in the Town of Indian Beach. Beside ocean front activities, there are two swimming pools (one heated year round) and two hot tubs on the 36 acre Ocean Club property as well as a kiddies’ pool, several barbeque areas, tennis courts, two beach-overlook areas, a sound side pier, a putting green, a walking trail through a maritime forest and a covered game pavilion. European health spa amenities at the top rated Ocean Club Spa, which is located on site, are available for an additional fee. Access to the villa is by elevator and there is a covered parking area.
